We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news from the STEM AI competition!
Out of 176 teams from schools across the UAE, only 27 advanced to the National Finals, and a team from our school, “EcoPal – AI Backpack Buddy,” was one of them!
The project focused on developing an idea for an AI-powered smart backpack assistant that would remind students of eco-friendly habits during their school day and after-school routine, encouraging more sustainable choices in a fun, supportive way.
Cycle 1 teams were divided into three themes, and our team was placed under the “Hearts & Minds” category, which highlights innovations that serve the needs of others and benefit society.
We are proud to share that our team placed Third in the Cycle 1 category under the “Hearts & Minds” theme!
