ADNOC Schools Madinat Zayed Awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag! 

We’re proud to share that ADNOC Schools Madinat Zayed has officially received the Green Flag from the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) following our onsite assessment on 25 June 2025.

This international award recognizes our commitment to sustainability, environmental education, and student-led initiatives that make a real impact across the school community.

Why It Matters

1. Exceptional student leadership through our Eco-Committee

2. Well-documented, whole-school projects

3. A culture that goes beyond the minimum requirements for sustainability

Next Steps

To maintain our Green Flag status, we’ll focus on:

1. Adding field trips to natural areas

2. Introducing two new sustainability themes

3. Involving the entire school in developing our Eco Code

4. Deepening links to sustainability in the curriculum

We’re also exploring global opportunities like Young Reporters for the Environment, Global Action Days, and Learning about Forests.
